No Limit Fold'em Settings

No Limit Fold'em offers many different settings that you can customize.
To access program settings, on the main Fold'em toolbar, click Fold'em Settings toolbar button

From the dropdown menu, select Program Settings.

Program Default Settings
Most of the settings here are defaults that can be changed while using Fold'em. Don't be afraid to experiment with the settings to see how they act. You can always click Restore Default Settings to return the settings to the values when Fold'em was installed.

Appearance Tab

Fold'em Settings

Choose default deck
This setting tells Fold'em how you want the cards displayed in the table monitor. It doesn't change how the cards are displayed at the poker table. Fold'em is configured to recognize both two and four color decks at the poker tables.

Viewable Table Monitors
As tables are added to Fold'em, the Fold'em window expands in height as each table is added. For an example, if you set this value to 4 and you add 6 tables to Fold'em, only 4 table monitors will remain in view and a scroll bar will allow you to move the hidden monitors into view. In addition to using the scroll bar, the Act button on the main toolbar will show when it's your turn to act on any table Fold'em is watching. If you click the Act button, this will scroll the table monitor into view if it has been scrolled out of view.

Table Monitor Background
Set this to your preference. When tables are added, this will be the default background color of the monitor. After a table is added, you may change the color of each individual table monitor to help you keep track of which table monitor belongs to a table.

Show My Folded Cards
When Fold'em sees that your hand has been folded, by default it still shows your cards shaded. You may change this behavior to either shaded, normal or hidden.

Favorite Tables Tab

Fold'em Settings

Select the Game Type, Table Size and Number of seats you normally play. These settings can be changed when adding a table.

Alert Sounds Tab

Fold'em Settings

Fold'em has a built in alert sound with several volume levels that you can use or you may select your own custom sound. Fold'em can play any standard .wav file to alert you when it sees a playable hand. You may also choose to start Fold'em muted or adjust the interval that the alert is repeated.

Randomize Fold Delay
A fold delay is set in each hand configuration file. You can use this setting to randomize the fold delay. We added this because some customers were concerned about Fold'em appearing like a bot.

Enable Auto-Folding
Although Fold'em was originally designed as strictly an auto-folder, we have built in several features that you may want to use without the auto-folder, such as table highlighting and mis-click protection. This allows you to turn off the auto-folder and just use the features you want.

Pause If Mouse Over Poker Table Window
Turning this setting on tells Fold'em that if the mouse pointer is anywhere over the poker table do not automatically fold a hand. Although your hand configuration for the table is telling Fold'em it should fold, you may want to reevaluate and take a different action. If you move the mouse away from the window, Fold'em will resume it's countdown and fold the hand.

Mis-Click Protection
This feature works but not quite as perfect as we would like. Click Here for more information on Mis-Click Protection.

Enable Table Highlights
When table highlights are enabled, whenever it's your turn to act at a table, Fold'em changes the color of the title bar of the window to the selected highlight color. When multi-tabling, this helps you quickly identify a table that requires your attention.
